Great ending,
The living in time stop is a really unique concept that people often briefly imagine but never really dwell on, it's really refreshing.
Good villain, his motivation were also rather unique yet understandable, he doesn't want to exploit stasis he simply wants to spectate the world, much preferred to cliche delusions of grandeur most villain's experience.
The ending really brings about a different perspective on all the events that occur.
Although it seemed rather significant, the discovery of the true founder completely trivialised Juri's insanity inducing solitude.
On the subject of the true founder, the full circle of Juri pulling in the true founder at the end from the scene at the start was really nice to experience.
So overall, I realised that the journey they undertook was in the grand scheme of things rather insignificant despite how dire it seemed. If Sakawa the villain were to have won, he would have simply observed the world with an extended life, and no drastic changes in the world would occur. In this case although seemingly endless the Sakawa conflict and Juri's solitude essentially happened in a single day, hell less then a second if u think about it.
The concept of stasis and the heralds are rather interesting, although if i thought deeply i could pick out flaws. In their world it seems like such a groundbreaking place yet in the end it changed almost nothing, a really new method of using a significant tool in a show.
Its refreshing to see a show where the characters have a perilous adventure yet it doesn't really matter relative to the world or even their neighbourhood worst case being some of their family members die.
It is a really unique observing perspective I'm glad i got to experiences.
The show seems to be returning the world to its initial state, which makes you think the whole journey is worthless, but it also allows Juri to find herself and have pride in her family which once had "an air of hopelessness about it". Great execution of a full circle but this time with Sakawa as her son, which shows that the story has in fact proceeded but in subtler ways like other shows where saving the world or retrieving someone is involved, here everything is returned to normal but she has a son a better mindset and bond with her family and friendship with the other girl who was in stasis (i assume).
Extra Notes:
Very Good Op/End
Fav eps 11,12
Before those eps is not bad but nothing too special
Ps. Sakawa's wish is essentially achieved (his flashback shows he wished to be in a different family) so his demise in turn granted his wish another interesting aspect of the story.
Goes full circle but life is drastically better within the space of (seemingly) a single day. A masterpiece in its own right.
